SANJ / MANUFACTURING
From a requirement to a bearing specification.
Define the design before committing it to production.
A bearing manufacturing brief should connect geometry, material, heat treatment, raceway finish, accuracy, assembly and inspection. These are specification topics for review; the particular process route and capability must be confirmed for the requested product.
01 / Design and material review
Begin with the complete designation or approved drawing. Identify boundary dimensions, ring and rolling-element requirements, cage, clearance or preload and operating environment. Material and heat-treatment specifications must be explicit where they affect acceptance.
02 / Manufacturing and assembly requirements
Agree the features that control fit and function, including raceway geometry, surface requirements, ring accuracy, assembly, lubricant and sealing. Do not infer a special manufacturing capability from a generic catalog model.
03 / Inspection and release
Connect the drawing to an inspection plan, acceptance criteria, identification and packaging. Product-specific test reports and traceability requirements should be agreed in the quotation. Original SANJ process and equipment evidence is pending company documentation.
